Good Morning Kimberly!
I just wanted to shoot you a quick email from our honeymoon in Turks and Caicos... the cakes you made for us were incredible! I couldn't have asked for anything more! Not to mention... they tasted as good as they looked. That coconut creme cake should be illegal!!! :) the grooms cake was absolutely perfect! He loved the moose muffin and that was such a cool surprise! Anyhow, I hope you're having a good wedding season and thank you so much for a fantastic focal point for our wedding!  As a restaurant manager I don't often get to take place in the planning and execution of birthday parties and the like for my children. Kimberly and Andrew helped me find a way to not only be a part of the celebrations inner workings, but to almost steal the show!! For my son's second birthday party we discussed putting together a cake fashioned into something I knew my son would go crazy for, Thomas the Train. Despite my wife's reservations about using a bakery she had never heard of (I used the website to put a lot of those fears to rest) I convinced her to let me handle this. And she was absolutely blown away by the results! She took at least seven or eight pictures of just the cake. My son reacted as I figured he would, walking up and poking one of the trains in the face as he yelled out "Thomas!" Go figure! Everybody at the party was amazed at the talented decorating and even more amazed when I explained that it was all edible AND gluten free. My brother in law was amazed that he was actually going to get some of the birthday cake. We actually felt a little guilty cutting it, but once we tasted it we kept cutting. Hands down the most delicious masterpiece I've ever eaten. I could go on and on about all the rave reviews we got from the amazing cake but I definitely want to make sure I comment on how awesome Kimberly and Andrew (and the boys) are. Despite the graduation for both their boys falling within just a week before my son's party and being constantly under the gun for other cakes and events, they delivered an awesome cake that capped off the day for us. I can't thank them enough for finding time to fit my son's celebration in amongst all the things they had going on that week. On a side note, the cake made such an awesome impression on my 2 year old son that he noticed it weeks later while I was introducing someone else to the work Kimberly and Andrew do. Once he saw it he exclaimed "my cake!" and nearly knocked the monitor over to point at it. If that doesn't tell you how awesome these creations are, I don't know what will. I just had to pass along the rave reviews your Chocolate Overload cake got. I ordered it with the agave nectar buttercream frosting and it was AMAZING!!! Even though it was quite rich and even a small piece is filling, almost everyone came back for seconds. I gave a piece to a coworker and he looked at me wide-eyed and asked with incredulity, "This is sugar free?!" To sum up... That frosting kicks major ass!! We live in Seattle, Washington and got married in the picturesque mountains of Tennessee where my husband is from. Couture Cakes was highly recommended to us by a long time friend and co-worker who commissioned them to do her wedding about a year ago. She explained to us that Couture Cakes in Chattanooga, Tennessee was the only bakery she could find to create her a gluten free wedding cake and that she had her cake flown in overnight and it arrived on time, in perfect condition and was more elegant than she had ever imagined. She also explained that none of her guests were aware that her cake was gluten free and to this day she still gets comments on how wonderful it tasted. We could not do an in-person tasting, so Kimberly had our cake samples shipped overnight to us here. We did all of our communication via email and telephone. I was able to tell her exactly what I wanted without ever meeting her in person, she was able to translate it perfectly into the wedding cake of our dreams. The cake looked like it cost thousands of dollars, and was as delicious on the inside as it was beautiful on the outside. The handmade sugar flowers looked so real, and we even tried the fondant, which was truly delicious, even though everyone says it is only for decoration. Apparently they have not tried Couture Cakes fondant! Planning a wedding from thousands of miles away was quite stressful at times - it was a major relief to have such a caring vendor who truly took the time to listen to our wants and desires and come up with something absolutely breath-taking for our wedding. My husband and I absolutely recommend Couture Cakes and husband and wide owners, Kimberly & Andrew, and we were honored to have had one of her masterpiece creations as the centerpiece of our wedding. I've been meaning to drop you a thank you for several months now about my son's zoo cupcakes. They were absolutely spectacular and so delicious. They created a masterpiece for my bridal shower cake! It was a model of my wedding dress (they were given a photo of my dress, which they copied in detail) atop a very large Tiffany Co. Box, with the color and signature ribbon to boat! If this was not enough, just try the cake....YUM! I had the vanilla almond flavor cake with vanilla almond filling. So yummy! And, gluten free! I would not have googled to find A Bountiful Harvest if it were not for my celiac, but these guys are honestly more skilled than any non-gluten free bakers. The cake was delicious, and all of my guests loved it. Btw, I am the only celiac who was at the shower!

We couldn't be happier with the exquisite cakes you created for us! When we arrived at venue yesterday, it was one of the first things that caught my attention and I went straight to it and just stared at it for what seemed like ages. It was so beautiful, and even better than I had imagined it could ever be. I was looking for REAL cake for my daughters wedding in the Atlanta area, but could not come up with anyone who would take on the challenge of baking a REAL cake. Although no one in our family is gluten intolerant I wanted to serve a cake that had real food ingredients that tasted scrumptious as well as being beautiful to look at. From the first email contact to the end of the process Kimberly and Andrew went over and beyond the call of duty.
The cakes were loved by the guests most of whom did not even know they were made gluten free ingredients. I found out we did have one guest who was gluten intolerant, so she was able to share in eating a piece with all the other guests. I agree with another review in wondering why they are not on Food TV Network....we are working on that. Thanks for the "easy peasy" wedding cake process from beginning to end, you guys are great!
Great Company to do business with! - We recently had Kimberly & Andrew Beattie, Owners of Couture Cakes by A Bountiful Harvest in Chattanooga, Tennessee do a wedding cake and grooms cake for our daughters wedding. We chose the Pez theme for the grooms cake and a four tier wedding cake in different green colors and with flowers. We were amazed when we received the cakes as they were more than what we had expected them to be. First of all the cakes were beautiful, but more than that they were delicious, some of the best cake I have ever eaten. If you have a wedding planned or any other occasion where you need a first rated cake design, please call Kimberly and Andrew and let them make your occasion extra special. I believe the cake was a real hit and enjoyed by all who attended the wedding.

Our daughter turned 16 this month and we wanted this party to be everything a "Sweet 16" should be. We planned for months even having 'task force' meetings with friends and family to make sure we had all the special details in place. I've known Kimberly and Andrew for years and their talent is beyond anything that my words could do justice. I knew that they were my first choice for gift baskets and gourmet chocolates, etc. but I had no idea that they were now doing the beautiful cakes that I so wanted for this party. I searched the web and found some cute cakes that could work and started making calls for pricing, flavors, etc. Then I saw that A Bountiful Harvest was doing the Topsy Turvy Cake that I really wanted and FREAKED! I called Kim and scheduled it immediately. Fast forward to the day of the party…The colors for the party were pink, brown and white and I told Kim to take her artistic liberties and 'do her thing'... and boy did she! When Kim and Andrew showed up to the facility and unveiled that cake the room went wild. We had lots of people there helping prepare for the party and they all couldn't believe how amazing the cake was. This Birthday party was the best we've had. My daughter felt like the princess she is, and Kim and Andrew from A Bountiful Harvest were the 'icing on the cake' for the sweetest, Sweet 16 we could have imagined. I couldn't say more. The vanilla bean cake with creamy butter cream icing and even the chocolate fondant was delicious. Oh... and it's gluten free and organic to boot! You've GOT to use them for your next event! Best Bakery in Chattanooga Hands Down! The folks at this bakery were so accommodating and easy to work with when I needed a special order gluten free wedding cake for my son's out of town wedding. He was diagnosed with Celiac Disease shortly before his wedding and although the bride's parents had already ordered the wedding cake, my son could not eat it. We were in a panic scrambling at the last minute trying to find a local bakery in Ashville, NC to create what we needed to no avail. Thanks to the internet I was able to find this company. The good folks at A Bountiful Harvest created not only the most beautiful cake I've ever seen but more importantly the most incredibly delicious cake I've ever tasted! All of the guests were MORE than impressed with the taste, even those without special dietary restrictions. Their cake was gone in the blink of an eye. Even the bride's parents who spent a small fortune on the original wedding cake said that our cake out did theirs and to think for a fraction of the cost. I was surprised to find out that A Bountiful Harvest has been located in the Corner at Riverview building on Hixson Pike and Tremont Street apparently for the past 5 or so years and I never even knew it! Shame on me! For many years now we've been buying cakes for special occasions throughout the year from several bakeries in the Chattanooga area but I've got to admit none of the cakes have ever come close to comparing with the taste of this one. The folks at this bakery have customers for life! If you haven't tried one of their special order cakes, you should! - A smile is an understatement! Margaux was THRILLED with her Build-a-Bear cake. It was the cake of her dreams!! Despite my feeble attempts at GF birthday cupcakes and pink tiered cakes since she was 2, they turned out like Pepto-Bismol colored Tchernobyl-looking disasters. It's WORTH the drive from ATLANTA!! - If you can envision it, they can create...?I had to have a Winnie the Pooh cake for my soon to be grandsons baby shower. Everything is done in Pooh and boy oh boy do I mean everything, right down to the knobs on his dresser. I looked at cakes everywhere but could not find what I wanted. Most of the cakes had a cheep plastic pooh or a transfer design on top. Now maybe I've watched one too many episodes of the Ace of Cakes, but that's my kind of cake. I found Couture Cakes by a Google search online. Once I saw their cakes I knew I was getting my pooh cake from them. I called them and explained my situation and my needs for a pooh cake. I knew it was very short notice and they were hesitant to ship a cake to Virginia. I begged for a Pooh and hoped for Tigger if they could make him in time. Andrew called to let me knowthe cake had shipped and even called me the next morning to see if it had arrived yet. When FedEx showed up with my cake I couldn't even believe the size of the box!!!! I had it shipped overnight. When I started unpacking little boxes I couldn't believe they had made all Pooh's friends too!!! I had no idea they were going to make everyone. Needless to say this cake was more beautiful than I hoped it would be. Everyone at the baby shower was amazed that everything on the cake was edible. It tasted even better than it looked. If this is what they can make on short notice I can't wait to see what they can do with a years notice. 50th wedding anniversary cake - I found Bountiful Harvest on the web by searching for gluten free cakes. What a good day it was when I found this bakery! For my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration, my job was to find a gluten free, sugar free anniversary cake! When I talked to Kimberly, she was SO very helpful in helping me decide on a two layer cake for the celebration. My mom and 4 of her 5 children are gluten free people. This has been a problem with trying to find a bakery to make a gluten free cake, until now! From now on any gluten free cake we need will come from Bountiful Harvest! I must say that the anniversary cake was the hit of the party, and is still being talked about. We put my parents original cake topper on the cake from Bountiful Harvest. Kimberly did a great job with matching the colors on the cake, to the colors in my parents wedding. My entire family is now a fan of Bountiful Harvest. The cake arrived exactly on time, when I was told it would come. It came in PERFECT condition! Thank you Bountiful Harvest! In October I intend to order our 25th wedding anniversary cake from this bakery. I am 100% satisfied with their product and service! Here's a note we received from Joanne's sister - That's my mom in her wedding dress - fifty years after the wedding! My daughter and future son-in-law, a warm and courteous soon to be husband and wife duo genuinely wanted to play more than just a little part in all of the happy memories which would be created in planning for the perfect wedding event, something Leah has dreamed of since she was a small child; however, being in the armed forces and stationed in separate parts of the world made this task a bit difficult and at times near impossible. After many months of searching for the perfect bakery we found Custom Couture Cakes in Chattanooga, TN. My husband thought I had gone a bit crazy for trying to work with a bakery so far away but just moments into my first phone conversation I knew that Kimberly & Andrew were the right couple to create the perfect cake for our daughter's perfect day. She wanted a contemporary, modern, simple yet sophisticated (contradiction in terms to some - now you can truly appreciate Kimberly's ability in translating ones needs!!) and above all a unique wedding cake and Mark wanted some sort of grooms cake that would reflect his military life to celebrate their wedding day. However, since my husband and I reside in North Carolina, where the wedding was to be held and the kids were both out of the country on deployment this was not going to be an easy task for anyone to undertake and only serves to support the fact that Kimberly has a natural ability to identify with her clients no matter where they are! The day finally arrived and the cakes were delivered on time as promised. I must say that the attention to each and every little detail and their dedication to perfection was exhibited in the finished cakes and was far beyond my daughters, my son-in-laws, my husbands and my wildest dreams and was there on display for everyone to see. Honest, reliable, friendly, sincere and above all decent folks that are intent on making a difference. Kimberly and Andrew are quite simply artists, bakers and miracle workers who delivered on all of their promises. Thus all of their hard work in our book is priceless! Every guest got a mini-cake to take home, which was great, and we have had so many messages saying how delicious they were. I would like to thank-you ever so much for my daughter's wonderful birthday cake. The pool decorations were exactly how she imagined it and the flavor was incredible. I never knew that gluten free could taste so good. It's definitely so far beyond the normal cardboard type gluten free cakes we've had in the past and makes us thrilled to know our two daughters can have a fantastic tasting special cake for every occasion now. Just a quick email to say thanks for the beautiful wedding cake you shipped us. It tasted delicious and everyone commented on how fantastic it looked, even people from another wedding being held in the same hotel came and took pictures of it!! They could not believe we had it shipped from Chattanooga to New York City and it arrived in tack. The best part was the look on their faces when my mom gave them a taste and they nearly melted into the floor! LOL! They confessed they paid $4000 for their cake from a local bakery and that it didn't look half as beautiful nor did it taste as yummy and moist. I gave them your website for future cakes. LOL! The day went fabulously, everyone was so impressed with the cakes it was excellent, unfortunately I didn't get anything beyond the small bite we had for the cake cutting pics, not even the chocolate toffee crunch part as predicted, apparently that went within the first 20 mins, and we had absolutely nothing left over, which is very strange for wedding cake, not because there wasn't enough cake but simply because people went back for seconds AND thirds! Everyone is still raving three weeks later! Blake and I are going to have you ship us a smaller cake next month once we get settled into our new house for just us to enjoy.
